NATIONAL BOAT RACING ASSOCIATION

I am 51 years young.  Love boat racing.  In 1973 I was 15 years old and saw my first hydroplane race in Hot Springs, Arkansas.  It was my dream to some day race one of those wooden boats.  We always lived on the lake and had boats.  Most kids were playing in the dirt but I was running up and down the shoreline dragging homemade boats tied to string for fun.  In the summer of 1978 I built a 8 ft. yellowjacket powered by a 25 h.p. Johnson.  It made for a thrilling ride.  Then in 2002 my wife showed me how to surf the net.  I found a Hydroracer website which allowed me to buy a new racing engine and some used boats and and now here I am into my 3rd year of racing.  Life is good.  See you at the races!!  Tony Anderson.
