Guy's I am looking at possibly making a couple of your races with a Cmod hydro running a Yamato 302 on it. Is there any way to get a set of tech spec's/rules for this class? I would not want to show up and not have a legal engine.

Thanks,

Mark

Just what I was talking about. We need to get our rule book on line so interested people can see what is required to race with us.

If you have a legal APBA C-Mod you will be legal in NBRA. Only difference may be weight. Nbra weight for C- Mod Hydro is 420 lbs. Hope you can make some of our races. Very competive class in this part of the country.

I pretty much thought that a APBA cmod would be legal running with you guy's. But I would still like to see the Tech rules for the class.  I have questions like. Do I need to run tha lame 102/302 lower unit? Or can I run a Rossi, Konny, or Yamato hatchet lower unit as long as it has the same gear ratio as the 102/203 lower unit?

I also have other team mates that would like to know all of the E and SE tech rules. They would make a race or two with me also. If it was online it would make it much easier for use to come race with you.

Thank you,

Mark

Sounds great...

Even if it took some time to get it on line, I'm sure someone could send you a copy.

In fact, I have a copy of the 2011 rules I can send you.

Page 10 in the tech rules state..."3. Any make of lower unit may be used, the gear ratio is limited to a one tooth reduction. (ie) 14:15, 15:16"

Just to make a slight correction to Mr. Art's comment. CMH weight is actually 435. :) Looking forward to racing with you guys again this year. Watch out though. I've been known to leave traps in the form of gas tanks on the course ;P haha.

Yes I know...

Well, if you can't win with speed and superior driving abilities... Whatever.

Hey John-

Since you haven't commented on my snarky post, I'm getting worried that I may have offended you.

I surely didn't intend to, and if I have, I apologize...

HOWEVER, if you recall it was I  that got hit by your last "gas tank trap" and if that isn't bad enough, it was in Jack's boat. The Eagle!

So, I'm thinking that not only do you owe me at least one snarky comment, you owe Jack one too.

And while I'm on the subject, come to think of it, that was Uncle Randy's boat you were driving, coming apart piece by piece... looked like the Mathews Clan truck in Beverly Hillbillys with chicken coops and curr dogs flying off of it going down the highway... So, he owes us one too.

I realize the lack of tone and inflection inherent in email can cause one to mis-interpret intent, and I for one am lothe to use those stupid little emoticons, or those initials you young guys are so clever with, but I guess just to be sure I don't offend one of my favorite race teams, and the only team that still flys the "Stars and Bars", just this once then..........LOL
