Great News, WE have a solid date at the LUCAS OIL SPEEDWAY, for a test weekend, 2 days of testing from 12 noon till dark. This will be INSURED TESTING, camping in the Pitts, self contained only, no hookups. APRIL 7 & 8, We will pitt at the west end of the Lake, All NBRA members encouraged to come to this, There will be a drivers school on Sunday morning, so if Ya know of anybody wanting to check into Boat Racing this would be a great time to bring them along. pit passes will be required by all in the pitts and release will need to be signed, th GM Dan Robinson , Forrest Lucas will be on hand and can see if we are marketable, and if we are good we may even get Mrs Lucas to drive 1 of our boats, Motel accomaditions 6 mile east on hwy 54. Clear LIght Inn 417-745-2500. $69 nite 2 queens / king $64 plus taxes. Make Reservations ASAP let them Know you are with NBRA at Lucas. If you have any Questions call Jeff @ 479-927-2847 | |

Doc nothing going on after dark, the race cars will be there to test and a drivers school, but the lights are just turned on for testing, so nothing after dark, cept maybe a few beers | |

Keith that is probably why they let us use it. I would guess they didn't have any thing scheduled for that weekend and it was open for us. Larry Mac | |

If you look at the Lucas Schedule they have open practice for the race cars and a driver school that weekend, this is why we get the lake , People will be there on hand both days , I am not sure that they knew it was easter sunday when they worked out there event scheduling or not, But I do know this is a great oppertunity for us , and I surly hope we have a good turn out. and I am sure we will. Calling around I have 20 confirmed drivers. thats if they all show up | |
