NATIONAL BOAT RACING ASSOCIATION

Next Sunday (Jan 15) is the deadline for clubs to get their dues in to NBRA or face an additional $20 charge. Many have not paid.

Driver and associate memberships are also sorely lacking in renewals at this point and NBRA is beginning to approach the time of year it needs to have more money on hand than is currently in the kitty. Apparently only a handful of folks have renewed for 2012.

I know it's tough times, but this organization has to have at least a minimum of funding to operate ... and memberships provide an important part of that.

We have some opportunities right now that I'd like to take to the officers that include an expenditure, but there isn't the normal amount of cash on hand for me to feel comfortable to make that step.

PLEASE: If you haven't renewed your NBRA membership try to get it done this week.
