The I phone has been helpful putting on races.  The technology is in your phone to help put on a race.  You need a few apps however.  First, get a recording of the Star spangel Banner, for the opening ceramonies.  The prayer has to come from the heart, but you could prerecord the words.  You could put the schedule on it, to be given at the drivers meeting.  Important information about the race that you want to keep can be recorded, accidents, new friends and sponsor information.  With an app you can keep time of the finishes, allowing you to declare a winner in a championship event.  You can take a video of the start, to see gunjumpers.  Lastly, you can call your wife and tell her you crashed and the next few weeks you will have to spend your free time in the garage fixing and painting.
