On the A Hydro weight change... It list the class as weighing 390 and to be changed to 400. A Hydro's original weight is 380. It also doesn't tell whether or not the weight change is for ALL motors in the class or JUST for the Yamatos. Does this mean the Hot Rods still get to run at the weight they are at currently? Doesn't seem fair to raise the weight limit in JUST one engine of a certain make. But then again it could mean the whole class and not just a certain make of engine. I don't know. And on the C Stock head dimension dealio. Since it ONLY lists the 202 and 302 on the ballot. Does that mean that the 102 wont be allowed to have the same changes in the rules? If I read the rule book correctly that would allow you do more to the 202/302 than the 102. Can anyone clear these up for me? I want to make sure I'm voting for the right things here. Haha. Thanks for clearing these up for me if possible.

Good point John,  There was no discussion as to the Hot Rod and how that would effect the class.  It was just discussion on how the people in the class have gotten heavier.  Food is pentiful in our world.  The way it was purposed, it was across the board, increase weight for all in the class.  I did the orginal study on combining the class and I can not tell you the weights in the 80's, but the times were very close.  If we add the weight to the yamato, it will give the Hot Rod an advantage.  Secondly,  the drop in the H demension is to help the 302.   When you look at the winners in APBA, it is the 102 that are still winning, even after dropping the H deminsion.  So you want the avaiable engine the 302 to be the faster motor, but so far that has not been the case.  They are not makeing any more 102. Braxton won one heat with a 102 in the C hydro, place second in the first heat.  Rick was running a 302 and won the other first and second.  We checked the compression on the 102 and it was 104 while the 302 was much higher.  The 102 has four years of racing and is wore out.. Time to rering.  We got a new 302 for Braxton, but we are working on restoring the 102.
