I have just tried to send the OBRA newsletter to my distribution list and have had two returned to me. Mark Daspit and Steve Talley. Would you be able to send me your current email addresses so that I could send the letter to you? Contact me at Melissa_Backward@mohawkind.com and I will forward. Anyone else that would like to be added to the distribution list, please send me your addresses and I will be glad to add you to the monthly list.

Yup, it was a great Newsletter.
Just one thing about who gets the "thanks" for the Somerville race, Jack And Dennis Crews for sure, But also Gardner Miller for bringing the rescue boat down and working the race, Dennis Burke for announcing all weekend and taking the boat back up, (and for bringing his girlfriend who takes great pictures), Mike Hauenstein who was on Boat Ramp Patrol all weekend, The entire Hawkins clan, bringing a corner boat, manning corner boats, registration and score keeping.. And the One and Only Patsy Ruth, Queen of the NBRA.
And a huge THANKS to OBRA for letting Lone Star use your equipment...Awesome.

I agree! Forgive me for not knowing the names yet. O-49 was not able to come down and have fun with everyone, but I appreciate all the info. I will make sure that in October's letter that all of the workers are mentioned. I think it's important, because it takes so much to put these races on and each need to be recognized for all their good hard work.
Mark, I hope you don't mind me posting your picture in OBRA After Midnight, but I just loved that picture. And a big thanks goes to everyone that took pictures and posted them on NBRA. They were great! Some of the shots made me feel like I was right there and could almost hear those engines roar!

Mark, I hope you don't mind me posting your picture in OBRA After Midnight, but I just loved that picture. Not at all, it made me laugh. But wow, my hair is a lot greyer than I thought. Maybe it was just the angle of the sun...

Melissa, You might mention Dawn, She worked her tail off making sure the PA system and walkie talkies were in order. She was their troubleshooting person for the OBRA equip. Iam proud of her and she did a great job.
