Great turnout of boats, Beautiful weather, great support from local advertisers, lots of spectators,  and above all great effort and teamwork by OBRA club.  Most important , from my position, the ladies on the judge's stand is who makes the races run smoothly.  Lots of work is accomplished by these people with quick accurate decisions.  Thanks again to Charlotte Lewis, Patsy Ruth, Zenna Middaugh and of course (can't forget )Leanard Miller!   Wish I could have gotten the bugs out of my SEH so I could have run with Bryon Tharp.  Had a good time on the judges stand with those good dedicated people.   Thanks for a great weekend.  BURT HOEFS  Referee..

Yeah, what Burt said!!!!

Seriously, thank you all for turning out to Boomin' on Boomer in Stillwater this weekend...a truly successful Series Challenge boat race from our standpoint...great weather, good friends, only a couple of swimmers and no blood!

These folks are the lifeblood of the sponsorship of this race, and communication from all of you would really go a long way toward making next year's efforts smooth for another good race here.

The fact that Mercury Marine may be coming to town over the next 24-36 months with nearly 400 new jobs and more management bodes well for some good things on Boomer Lake in the future.

Thanks for coming to Stillwater!!

Yes thank you to all that worked so hard to make this race a great success.  I also want to thank Jeff Ruth for letting me and my son Graeme take out his CSH for a few laps, what an unexpected treat that was!  My son and I had a great time helping Jeff in the pits and watching some great boat racing again thank you to all!

I also want to say that this was our first time hanging out with the folks of the NBRA and we felt so welcome to be there that we just had a great time.  Iam working on trying to put a rig together for next year so that I too can get out there race with you guys.  I know that after Graeme had that ride in Jeff's boat that now he wants to get out on the water as well.  We look forward to seeing all of our new freinds at the next race.

Thanks!!

I will have a lot of pictures posted this week (processing them now) sometime within the next week.  I do need the name of the racer that flipped late on Sunday (green boat) - regretfully he din NOT have "Fun in Oklahoma" and I have the picture to prove it.  Check the front page of my site.  Apologies for the quality but that was a long way from where I was standing so the camera and the zoom were really stretched past the limit.

http://www.funinoklahoma.com ; This is NOT spam - check my site and you will see.  BTW - I do NOT sell pictures, they are my gift to you - simply copy and paste.  Complain about the quality and I will give you a full refund!  I take pictures to attract attention #1 - for your enjoyment if you like #2.  I promote professional photographers for the good pictures.  My site is mainly to promote all the many events available in Oklahoma to the great people living all over this state that otherwise have no idea all that is avialable.

Help me help you - send info, get on the racer list, send pics, the more that appears on my site the more people that will be at the races next year.  jeff@jefftoney.com

Thanks

Jeff Toney
