All,
The Stillwater race on Boomer Lake will be NBRA Classes both days!!! If there are not enough classes on Sunday for NBRA Class racing there will, of course, be combined classes.
The word "format" should have not appeared in Butch's newsletter... since it seems to scare people. I actually don't remember if was used or not, I remember him saying classes would be combined if necessary...which is not unheard of in anyone's racing.
I have talked with Butch and we decided late last week that both days of the Stillwater Boomer Lake race will be for NBRA classes and points, with each NBRA class run separately as long as there are three legal boats...just like you guys in ODA run races. You will have to understand prize money will be mailed out after the race when we figure out who won what.
The sooner everyone forgets the world "format" the better. ODA combines classes when it's necessary and so does OBRA... enough said.
Come down, enjoy two days of racing like you put on at ODA race and all will be well. We look forward to having a good time with as little complication as possible. Also, Saturday at 11 p.m. I have arranged for Chick-Filet to feed drivers and crews as their form of sponsorship.
I will reiterate this point again at the Nationals so there should be NO confusion as to what's going on at Stillwater: NBRA classes both days...prize money based on Sunday's NBRA classes, mailed out after the race is done and paperwork is completed.
Any questions, let me know:

Dan Dan Dan, can you stop using cuss words in your post, especially when you're talking about the STILLWATER race. Please replace "SOONER" with "quicker".
Rick Miller, rumor has it OSU is going to spank your team this year!!!

HA !!!! It will be a cold day in hell before the OSU cowboys beat the OU Sooners again. No matter how much talent OSU has , they always find a way to lose. OU's defense is so strong this year , it will be very hard to score on them. However , I will give the ORANGE power some respect - At least they know a great sport when they see one and Boat Racing at Boomer Lake will be the hot spot that weekend. Go NBRA !! Go OBRA !!

I will be there too. Looking forward to seeing eveybody. Shhhh...Keep this a secrect ...but Jeff Ruth is putting me in his CSH to race. That means ALL you CSH guys will have at least one guy you KNOW you can pass. Not because of the rig (it's plenty fast) but because of the Texas greenhorn that will be in it !

I think the Bommer lake is on the left side as you come in to stillwater easy to spot , I'd say its right beside the interstate.
